You can expect your child to build upon the knowledge that was gained from last year's band class.

It is understood that the amount of knowledge gained is dependent upon the amount of QUALITY time spent practicing outside of your child's band rehearsal time.

Your child will have the opportunity to participate in the following events this year:

1) Being in the band at designated home 7th and 8th grade football games
2) Combined Patriotic Show with the Cat Band and Roarin' Lion Band
3) District Band Auditions
4) Solo/Ensemble Contest
5) Concert and Sightreading Contest and
6) Festival Competition/Spring Trip.

All of these opportunites will rely on your child being academically eligible before that particular event occurs.
