Welcome to another school year.  I am looking forward to an exciting year in math.  I am Mrs. Franklin, your 6^th grade math teacher.  I am starting my twenty-fifth year at Vernon Middle School.  I received my bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University and my elementary certification from Texas Woman’s University. 

My expectations are high.  The learning environment for your child is a combination of both home and school.  In order to provide a superior learning environment, it is crucial that the rules are understood and followed by all students.  For a complete list of rules and expectations I believe you will find helpful in assuring a successful year for all please refer to the page titled expectations.
