Schedule Information |
 | |
My schedule varies each semester. Due to traveling from campus to campus each day, the easiest way to reach me is to leave a message at my "home" campus, Vernon Middle School, and I will call you back as soon as possible. 940 552-6231

After Identification |
 | |
After being identified as having dyslexic tendencies, your child will begin the MTA Program. This is a regular education pull-out program that consists of mastering information contained in seven kits. 90% mastery is required. Duration in the program is dependent upon severity of the disability, age, number of students in the group, motivation, and innate potential.

Testing Information |
 | |
State law provides for accommodations for mandatory state testing. The Dyslexia Bundled Accommodations for the reading test consists of the test being administered over a two day period, proper nouns being read to the student, and questions and answers being read. Also, your child may be given oral tests in math, science, and social studies.
