OVERVIEW OF ENGLISH RESOURCE: Introduction to Basic English concepts of writing, grammar, and reading. Emphasizing on sentence structure, parts of speech, written language, and reading comprehension. All work will be based off the student IEP that was approved at the student ARD meeting.

 ENGLISH RESOURCE EXPECTATIONS:  Each student is responsible for their make-up work. • Every person is to be respectful of others at all times. • Bring supplies to class every day and be ready to work.

CLASS RULES:No food or drink in class or hallways • Keeep hands, feet, and objects to yourself

CONSEQUENCES: • Verbal warning • Assigned detention • Parent contact • Office referral

GRADING SYSTEM: • All work is graded on even scale and will count as a daily grade.

SUPPLIES: • Paper and pen/pencil
