Course Description
Building upon the skills acquired in the Level 2 language course, students will learn additional vocabulary and structures to allow them to increase written and spoken self-expression. They will be able to participate in a conversation with native speakers and handle situations even when a complication occurs. An appreciation of diverse culture is enhanced through reading and discussions in the foreign language. The purchase of a dictionary and a verb book are recommended for this course.
Classroom Behavior
  • Be on time and have homework out when bell rings. 

  • Bring needed supplies to class.  If you need to go back to your locker to get your textbook, workbook, or homework, you will be required to get a tardy slip or attend after school detention.

  •  Food and drinks will NOT be allowed in the classroom.  You will be allowed to have water.

  •  Respect yourself and others.

  •  Participate actively.

  •  Turn in assignments in a timely manner.  Make up work is due a day after you return to class.  It is your responsibility to obtain any make-up work from me.

  • Make arrangements with me for any make-up exams.
  • Grading Procedures

    Daily Work/Participation: 20%



    Orals and quizzes 30%



    Exams: 50%



    Any test grade below a 70 may be retaken for a maximum grade of 70. This must be done in a timely  manner!
