"The best place to find a helping hand is at the end of your own arm."- Swedish Proverb I truly believe that all students are capable of doing anything that he or she sets his/her mind to. In my experiences of hardships and sacrifices, I find that enduring the pain and trudging on gives one great appreciation for one's accomplishments. This is my fourth year to teach. I currently teach English IV, Theatre Productions, and Speech and Debate. I also hold the responsibility of UIL coordinator. I not only feel that UIL is an excellent opportunity for our students to showcase their talents, but it is also a wonderful learning experience. I currently hold teaching certificates in English 8-12, Speech 8-12, and Theatre EC-12. I attended Wayland Baptist University where I attained my Bachelor's in Occupational Education with an emphasis in English and a specialization in Theatre. I am currently working on Master's of Education in Instructional Leadership. The anticipated date of completion is July 29, 2012. I am looking to being a PhD in Education in 2014. I believe it is my duty to serve my students and provide a safe and healthy learning environment. My door is always open.
