Science Fair Template
1. Headings should be all CAPITAL letters, bold and in font size 60. The heading should be centered on the page.
2. The rest of the typing should be in either size 22 or size 24 font. (This is so that the person reading your project can see it clearly.)
3. The purpose is the first category. It includes three parts, the question, the purpose of the project, and the reason you chose this project. It should look like this:

The purpose of my project is to…
The reason I chose this project is because…
4. The hypothesis is the next category. It includes two parts, the hypothesis statement and the reason you think something will happen. It should look like this:
HYPOTHESIS
I think that…..
The reason I think this will happen is because through my research I have discovered that…
5. The materials make up the next category. Number each material that you will be using. Include everything that you need to do the experiment. The category for the materials should start out like this:

The materials needed for this project include:
(Then skip a line and number each material)
6. The research category is the next area. I want your research paper to include: An introduction, 3 paragraphs about your topic, and a closing. This means that your research paper should be a minimum of 5 paragraphs long. The research heading should look like this:

7. The procedure category is next. Be sure and number your procedures, and start a new line with each number. (Do not just keep going on the line and add another number. Press enter and start a new line for every procedure that you do.) The category for procedure should start out like this:

8. The results are the next category that you need to include, and it has two parts. This is where you put all the data you collected, and you also need to make a graph of your results. It should look like this:

9. The next category is the conclusion. It is where you tell whether you proved your hypothesis, or whether your hypothesis was not proven. *** YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE THIS FONT A SIZE 58 IN ORDER FOR THE WORD CONCLUSION TO FIT ON ONE LINE****
CONCLUSION
In conclusion I was/was not able to prove my hypothesis. Then you need to restate what you found in your results that let you know that your hypothesis was proven or disproven.
10. The next category is application. Here you are suppose to explain how you can apply the knowledge you gained from doing the experiment. You need to include at least two different ways you can use the knowledge you gained. *You must put the font at 56 to fit the word on the page.*

11. The last category is future study. In this category you need to tell the reader how you could improve on the project you just did, or what you could do to add another dimension to the project. Include 2 different things you could do. * The font must be at 50.*
