I am so excited to welcome you to my class this year. Here at Shive Elementary, students are challenged to reach new heights in a relaxed, inviting, enriched and exciting environment! I will be the proud teacher of these students. My name is Mayra Lopez. I am thrilled to be a part of the Shive Elementary fourth grade team.

I attended Stephen F Austin State University and graduated with a Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am married to my best friend/wonderful husband Miguel where we live in our first time home in Iowa Park, TX.

This year, we will be learning a lot together, and I am looking forward to getting to know more about your child. Once again welcome to fourth grade, I know we will have a great year!
