At McCord Elementary, students are fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in music class. In the course of this year, students will gain a knowledge of basic musical skills, such as rhythms, written notataion, and singing on pitch. As they learn these elements of music, they will also gain knowledge in certain aspects of math, reading, social studies, and science. McCord music students grow in social skills, academics, and personal development, all while engaged in the wonderful world of music.
